I understand trying to bring modern concepts into a fantasy world, but i wish they'd be wrapped up in a more fantasy looking package. Modern looking stuff looks so out of place.

I may be confusing this with one of the other similar series, but wasn't there a thing in this world where the Demon Lords had to keep fighting to survive? Then how is the stall owner able to survive as an ex-Demon Lord?

Breaking a core strips them of their powers but does not kill the demon lord, only his minions that was summoned by it.
Would the MC lose, all of his family would die, but not he himself.

Frog dude is a real bro however, and i hope the manga does not skip his mini arc.
He does eventually become an ally to the MC.

MC starts recruiting other demon lords to work with or for him.
He makes a few deals with some of the newbies as well.
Frog boi´s for example allowed to work in the city permanently as that does become his favorite hobby.
While also having his dungeon nearby once it regrows next year.
So MC´s city is going to be connected into multiple dungeons in the future.

allright, the casino is open, now we need a LOANSHARK, DRUG DEALER, PROSvisionTUTION and MANY MORE!!!
The regular people are probably doing that already.
He does have some say as a mayor, but the people are free to build there own facilities and businesses.
Drug dealers are just bootleg medics and i can´t imagine him not having built a drug store already for health reasons.

Just remember, even though it looks like that, it's a Deep One. An eldritch entity subservient to C'thulhu. :worry:
Not an expert on C'thulhu.
But are not the "Deep once" working for Dagon and not C'thulhu?

She is a R'lyeh Diva.
And R'lyeh was a city with followers from Cthulhu and Nyarlathotep.
And were inhabited by human cultists.

I don´t think R'lyeh had anything to do with Dagon but do correct me if i am wrong?
C'thulhu is really weird and convoluted but also pretty interesting.

In the previous chapters, it is shown she is a medium for "The Great Old One" (chapter 38, page 25), and the picture shown in the background is what usually looks like C'thulhu. We get a little bit more insight on her background in chapter 50 as well, around page 15. Amusingly enough, this is also the last chapter we see her with the taboo tatoo.

You may be right that I'm confusing Deep Ones with C'thulhu though. Apologies. I recently finished Etrian Odyssey 3, and it has Lovecraft references, I may have mixed the two up.

Maybe I've forgotten something, but don't those dragons basically belong to Procell? Their race works as a spectacle, but betting seems pointless if nobody can trust on it being a fair fight and the winner not predetermined. It would only work if anyone could bring their own dragon, but do folks normally possess them?
