I think it's just not all that important. The point was that Ooma witnessed them actually talking, after Zai was so worried about reconnecting with Riri.

Whatever it was they needed to speak of, isn't as critical as them getting to speak, at least from Ooma's perspective. It's why there was so much focus spent on her reaction to it across those two panels/pages.
