I have lost all faith in this manga with this chapter.

I'll excuse the confusing "Maneuver not possible" thing as some translation error, but the very fact that he can change to his "alt" character, who is a OP normal human is too much for me. OP Demon lord with an admin panel is already enough. Why the hell does he get to change to a human hero which, as far as I can tell, has no downsides to it (other than the fact he acts/dresses weird. which he should be able to change himself as he did with the demon lord). Why would he change back when the ring is taking over his mind in the other body?

The demon lord before at least has his share of problems (hunted/hated by the citizens, revered by satanist who kidnapped him from his world and do evil deeds in his name, evil ring trying to take over his body whenever there is a fight/blood). This character change thing is just too much, a perfect escape route which, for some dumb reason, he will probably not want to use.

The ring does not try to take over his body, it is an evil entity in itself in which it feeds upon hatred and can influence his body but not his mind. "Maneuver not possible" Due to the fact he cannot switch characters in the aspect in which he maintains control over his body, it's invalid because it's not transformation into an alt character but a transportation into a completely different character. Secondly, he's not an OP demon lord since all of his abilities are still locked so all he has is the passives programmed into the character from the start, he needs to unlock them through experience like any game. His alt is supposed to stand out and being the drunk developer he was he decided to make it boisterous and strong in itself. Lastly, he changed back because he is the main body, they are seperate entities inhabiting the same body at different times, kind of like multiple personality syndrome except he is the control character.
