@dextersTomato Yeah, in the previous chapter too they went against my expectations. Instead of a Cliche we got a Guy that actually genuinely tries to do some good. His reaction to our MC was also good since it lacked the usual Isekai's Side Character Hero white/Black arrogance but still saw him as the powerful entity he was.

@Stalkerman They built the town directly on top of the dungeon. It's already been explained why, multiple times. A dungeon is an area in which monsters spawn naturally. Monsters that spawn inside of a dungeon cannot leave it. Which means dungeons are only dangerous if you go inside them. This also means many of the largest and most prosperous cities in the world are built next to or on top of dungeons, because they can use the dungeons as a renewable mine for rare and exotic materials. The adventurer as a profession is a person who goes into dungeons to harvest their bounty. We were told this multiple times. Wotamega explicitly calls out, IN THIS CHAPTER, that "monsters counter-invading from the dungeon" is "impossible." What is happening shouldn't be possible. Presumably the necromancer has something to do with it.

@Stalkerman No, it wasn't. It was simply said that it was. However, there seem to be exceptions to that, since Wotamega said "I knew it" the moment he saw the Necromancer. Presumably there are some creatures or beings that have the power to manipulate a dungeon or otherwise circumvent the established rules of how they work, and a Necromancer is one of those beings. Or to put it another way, Wotamega seems to have suspected a Necromancer was involved once he saw the monsters rampaging, and then seeing the Necromancer in-perosn confirmed it for him.
