the last line can be taken as a hint off him not being human, or that he suspects her of suspecting him.
A normal person dont survive killing themselfs after all, and i find it hard to belive he "escaped" from the last chapter.
So i come to the conclusion that it's a different person trying look like him, or the more likely reason considering the technology he have....

Hmnnn just a few chapters ago, those two maidens went toe to toe with the Hero as well as the Demon Queen then 2-3 chapters later they get beat up by a few street thugs and gets sexually assaulted. Mind you those two passed a "secret government experiment" (cliche I know) and was specifically made for the purpose of going above and beyond the power of "The Holy Sword" and yet the author seems to have forgotten that, is the author of this series that incompetent? that he can't even write a suspense plot that doesn't include fucking up the rest of what he already wrote? instead he made those two a maiden in distress and sprinkled a tad bit of rapey scene with ugly bastards to further add drama and suspense. but then again don't expect consistency on a copy paste trash manga. time to drop this one.
