At this point, no one could ever reasonably be surprised by that. There was already the full-figured Amelia--you saw what she got: enforced (by the author) separation from Shiramine after he chose his horizontally barren "partner" and then afterthoughts in the end. This sort of thing is not uncommon in manga, these days.
