I'm going to be honest, this doesn't feel completely satisfying... too much evil has been done and yet it's being brushed off so easily...

And we don't get enough showing his harem ending either...

Just feels off....

Well, I doubt they could brush off the wars that easily. There'd still be a ton of hatred towards each other, well, mostly the Inhumans hating humans, since they suffered the most.
Also, we get quite a lot of lore dumping on the last chapter, lmao.
I actually don't mind what happened to the villain. His "punishment" more or less, became to save the past instead of the MC. They don't think he'll ever come back either, so it could be taken as the equivalent of death.
Overall, this chapter felt way to rushed for the epilogue.

Gosh I could write a long ass essay but I don't want to ramble so I'll keep it short. I genuinely liked this series & just for the PLOT but for the story as well. Sure the ending could have been better but overall I like the ride even with the time travel aspect confusing me like crazy. The fights were enjoyable as the author showcased his art for it. 4 years of following this & happy to read this to the end. The author is currently artist for this series but hope he'll get another manga to do in the future with even more PLOT. Endings are the most difficult part of a series and for this one I think it was fine. Author took the Time to try and show off the aftermath which I think is important for proper closure and one of the most neglected bits of an ending. It ended a bit too cleanly but I'm okay with that.

...Amelia was utterly wasted on this story. She's the only one without a properly happy ending: she ends up with a chance to be Shiramine's side dish--but generally away from him; Emilia made out way better than she did.

If Yoshikawa-sensei gets another chance at a manga, I hope it won't be another excuse for lolicon. Then again, his only original story that didn't get axed (or, at least, got an OVA adaptation instead of solely being lost to oblivion) was Kagaku na Yatsura--and in that, the MC seems to take the pedo path in the end.

Author clearly said a few time that Amelia ended with MC. This kind of harem dont mean one of the girl is a "side dish" it mean that all of them are valued equaly.
I know many people dont like harem, but it's not a bad end for her.

Now that you mention the other series. I think that was how I got here to begin with. I have a tendency to click the arthor/artist of something I'm enjoying to see if they've done something else. This was a fun ride. Now time to find another.

...Jesus Christ, the mental whiplash that this manga has given me... I still have no idea why I read it as long as I did. Remember how - at one point - it was just an isekai manga of an OP hero finding out humanity were the aggressors and him having a waifu and beastgirl harem?

...Then we got... whatever the mindfuck thing... this... is... I don't remember or know how it went off the rails, but the train went off the tracks and into another fucking reality.

lmfao what a goofy ending but the series was fun as hell all the way through. Alice reveal was a bit lame but frankly linking everything back together and having Diedhauser sent into the past is so funny that I'm ok with this. MC got outshined even in the extras lmao.
All I'd want now is a flash forward to everyone with kids, but I'm rather pleased with how far its come so far.
