hmm, gonna call it that this Shion guy isn't the hero reincarnated or reborn, but the same hero, time-locked somehow. If he could create a prison barrier strong enough to hold two entities he couldn't (or wouldn't) kill, I say odds are high he can pulls some BS to create a means of halting or faking his age.

I see your point but also running around yelling 'Help me free the demon queen and undo what the hero did 300 years ago' would be an excellent way to make him public enemy number one. Then he wouldn't have any help to do it.

Also also if he doesn't save them, then he can go back in in a couple of years when he has grown up a bit to grow even stronger.

To be fair, when he got his crest they told him that he's basically at the cap of power for what his body can handle. If the Hero who sealed them was stronger than them, he needs to be stronger than them(maybe even the Hero) to unseal them. So he needs to literally grow up in order to be able to handle all that power. THEN he can save them.

Sadly that means it'll be years before he can return to them and train more to be able to get them out
