Well, it wasn't surprising that the swordsman had a tragic backstory to justify his crimes, but that it turned out he wasn't actually some secret legendary warrior, and he was even holding back in the final clash, making the fight even worse.
The daughter, still too young to join the harem, but she's definitely going to be a recurring character.

Just a thought, why are they taking a small child with an unknown disease to what should be the most protected place in the kingdom, the royal castle? Maybe take her to the school, or someone’s house, but the Royal Castle, where the most important figures of the country live, I don’t think it’s a very good idea. Especially since it is known that the people that have a way to keep her illness at bay are the same ones that wanted the prince dead. Do these people not have any sense of danger or for-thought?

And they only enslaved daddy? If they had enslaved the daughter infront of him, he would have been likely to have kept to himself since he would have been experiencing the consequences of failing to fulfil an order, meaning he'd know what she'd go through herself, etc.

This series gave up on good writing and sound logic around chapter 1.

And yet I'm still reading it.

Considering that her mother had the same condition and neither they nor the teacher contracted it despite prolonged exposure, it's more likely to be some kind of inherited curse or genetic problem. We currently have no reason to believe it's contagious.

I'm not dropping this because of the subject matter, I'm dropping it because the writing is awful even for trashy manga

HE WAS FUCKING HOLDING BACK? Man, the writing just keeps getting better and better with each passing chapter. Also, what the hell is up with the whole daughter and his slave mark thing? Why is he begging them to save his daughter? Didn't he become a slave to save his daughter? What exactly is he asking them to save his daughter from? What is the point of the slave seal if they still need a hostage? How did he get the slave seal in the first place? Did he become a slave WITHOUT checking first if these guys could really help his child? How does that work exactly? So he fails his mission, and he asks our heroes to go and take his daughter away from the guys who are supposed to be treating her? Does he know they are charlatans? Man, this backstory is quite complex and well thought out.
