There are "a lot" of phrases "in quotation marks" in "this chapter." It's "bad enough" when "these are" the "secret codes" that the MC insists "be used" for "getting a quest" out of "his guild," but it doesn't make "any sense" when it's "just him" and the "former demon lord" who's way, way, way "too thirsty" for someone who "serves drinks" for a living. All of this "excessive use" of quotation marks is "very distracting."

Wtf is this thing on his crossbow and how does it work? Doesn't look like working goat leg to me, but I'm kinda stupid.

I'm guessing that the artist just didn't research crossbows very effectively. While there are some crossbows that have a goat's foot type lever as a permanent attachment, I don't see how the crossbow depicted can work like that. Maybe the artist got the designs for a chu-ko-nu mixed up with a goat's foot, or summat.
