This chapter is just pure magic to me, moments like these are a clear reminder why I hold this series in such high regard.

The problem is, this would, in all likelihood, appear in a season four. Season three would only cover up through around volume 13 (that is, that speed tournament where Harunobu collapsed at the end, and the funeral home scenes with Namerikawa and his brother), based on how many chapters were adapted per season already.

To clarify, it was about 44 chapters for season 1, and 45 chapters for season 2. Skip forward another 40-50 chapters from where Season 2 left off, and you arrive most of the way through Volume 13. Season 4 would cover from there up past this chapter into the future, somewhere. Likely Volume 17... which, currently, is available, according to the chapter lists here, so there's sufficient material to do both seasons, maybe back-to-back.

Perhaps because of where Season 3 would have left off (I don't want a season cliffhangar to be Harunobu Nikaido collapsing in front of Soya that we have to wait years to see resolved, do you?), they decided to wait until Volume 17 or maybe 18 were complete to adapt them into seasons 3 and 4 back-to-back? That would be nice.

One of the best parts of this is that Hina still has the cat ears on. They fit so well that it doesn't even look comical, at all. Her shorter hairstyle makes the cat ears work a whole lot better, I'd say.
