Lycoris radiata or red spider lily, the flower shown in page 35, has a meaning of lost memory, never to meet again, and abandonment in japanese flower language (according to wiki). Seeing the theme and story of the manga, i think it's safe to say that Lycorice's name did refer to the flower. maybe the author changed it a bit to make the meaning less obvious? (or maybe he just made a mistake when trying to do the english pronounciation of Lycoris at the start and changing the protagonist's name mid story is less than ideal thing to do).
