I doubt this is the case considering Yuda was their victim before, unless Okaya also had a crush on him too.So Okaya was super interested in Nagare because he never ran away or gave up like his previous victims. Nagare kept fighting and denying him, which in turn made Okaya feel like he had to destroy him more. But, the way that scene was drawn made it seem like Okaya was sexually/romantically interested in Nagare. Which would turn this story into a very twisted “bully teases crush” trope that it does not really need considering how brutually cruel these people are. No amount of backstory can justify them torturing and murdering Nagare.
I wonder if they knew eachother before the bullying started. This is a change in someone he knew and was obstinante to stay in that position to get that guy to stop acting this way? But in the end it was his true nature type sh*tWhat was with the flower imagery when the boy said he'd never run away from him? It gives it a very weird sexual desire angle to it.
Yeah I agree about the stuff in JnR. Like sure in this series it is sometimes questionable why the group lets Okaya lead them, but in JnR Kyou just acts exceedingly cruel to them and they just take it and sometimes even enjoy it? It just makes it all the more weird and uncanny.I'm going to be honest here, I honestly like the dynamic between Okaya and Ajiki. Both are scums, but acknowledge their partnership is just for shits and giggles which makes their interactions a lot more interesting than the BS Kyou pulled with his fellow bullies in JnR.
Besides, I'm also in the camp that Okaya had a twisted interest in Kiritaka because he never surrendered to his bullying.
Hoping for this. Death by crossbow was FAR too merciful for that little bastard. Eagerly await the SAW contraption she's got planned for him now he's hopefully helpless.Kinugawa isn't dead yet, the explosion will have hurt him - possibly crippled him - but Maria will come finish him off with the cruelty he himself inflicted.
I started Juujika no Rokunin but as soon as the teenagers had whole gangs under their command lost interest. I skipped ahead a d it just got worse. While Maria has some issues at least it's kept the revenge to a small group and not bloated out.Yeah I agree about the stuff in JnR. Yeah Juujika really flirted with completely upending the suspension of disbelief. Like how tf are 15 year olds running whole illegal prostitution rings with an army of men under their wing?I started Juujika no Rokunin but as soon as the teenagers had whole gangs under their command lost interest. it's really gay, like, there's so many YAOI/BL manga use this kind of trope where the oh so 'unfulfilled guy' find some other guy he couldn't 'break' and he found it amusing enough to keep teasing him and then found out he saw this poor victim special and fall in love with him or something. What was with the flower imagery when the boy said he'd never run away from him?
