I truly admire the revenge story in this manga, but for like 3 whole chapter the (so called) bloodlust maria cannot kill a high school kid and the kid is bleeding so much, that he should be in a daizy and about to be going unconscious state is still dodgeing her attack who is completely fine. My main point is it just fell like one fight is just still being dragged when I first read chapter 28,I was thrilled but now I'm just reading with a straight face like the best example of what it is like just see jjk sukuna vs jujtsu sorcerer (before yuji came) every sorcerer just and got despawned by sukuna like please don't drag it and go on to maria taking revenge on okaya please.if you drag that fight it will fine bcz it will be the climax of the manga .

With the way the story is going, I really hope it doesn't drag on to 200+ chapters.

Wait, am I tripping or are the characters based in the 7 deadly sins?

The girl - Lust
Fatty - Gluttony
This dude - wrath
First dude - maybe sloth? I can’t remember him much
Main bad dude - Pride?

I know that leaves space for two more…

But maybe it’s…
The dad - envy (envy’s that his wife is able to take revenge)

That would leave greed?

Alternatively there might be two other bullies we haven’t seen yet (but then that would mean this is going to drag on)
The first guy would probably be greed since he blackmailed those girls for money (and Okaya's sole reason for keeping him around was money).

So I’m not sure if this chapter was meant to make us feel bad for Kinugawa because the author went through great lengths to showcase in very graphic detail how much Kinugawa tormented Nagare. I think this was showcasing how he met Okaya, his best friend, and ultimately how effed up Okaya is. But point is, how could Kinugawa put Nagare through the same thing he went through with no remorse? He brutally and violently assaulted Nagare, a figure who has not done any harm to him in any way, for Okaya’s sake. And then laughed and scorned his death. What I get from this is Maria is alot like Okaya, that she has morphed herself into someone with a cruel and ruthless viewpoint to punish them. Maybe that’s what the author is trying to say. That Okaya’s undoing will be from someone who was forced to act exactly like him(hence himself).

I think that was to show how Okaya can twist and corrupt people into their worst form by grooming their flaws.

Oooh that's really fitting! I wonder if this was an "intentional" theme with them then.

Even as a child, Kinugawa was already a remorseless violent thug. Maybe in this universe people can simply be born evil, and that applies to both him and his big boss Okaya.

The moment when petty evil meets pure evil. The teacher was a small-time sex offender and thug who ended himself because he still had a heart left for his own family, but his opponent was effectively the devil himself.

Kinugawa has been shot multiple times, took an explosion to the face, received electric shock, got blinded in one eye, pierced in the kneecaps, lost a couple of fingers and is still bleeding with no first aid done. And here he still manages to mostly dodge that chainsaw attack.

As much as I'd like to finally see the end of him, I'm pretty sure the only reason his punishment is still going on for this long, is that he's gonna get saved at the last minute. We already know Okaya and fatty are on their way to him, after all. The longer Maria takes to finish him off, the higher the chances they can still save him.
