Ok aside from the things that okaya did that everyone already mentioned.
Why tf does his mom have a katana and not like... a gun? Surely that wouldve been more effective and logical for a police chief to carry. Ig the katana matches the vibe of the scene more and to the author the vibe is more imortant than logic.
Also i was under the impression that shes just an emotionless doll that listens to everything her son says from how she acted so cult like before but ig she has her own thoughts that run counter to his. Makes for a more interesting character but idt weve seen ayn of it til now. Maybe she survives this whole ordeal and becomes the next person maria is after?
I do have to admit shes hot, but its been 3 chapters since weve seen anything of the mom people avtually read this manga for.

This one is like reading the deformed spawn of Dexter being gradually possessed by the ghost of Kill Bill, it has been very entertaining for me.

Other revenge mangas wished they could cast off their very incelbait premises their unwashed otaku authors give them and become this campy.

I hope Glasses-kun survives. If nothing else, he's been pretty unpredictable & entertaining with his goofy antics and demeanor.

I'm not sure how Okaya fell down the well in the last panel of the previous chapter but was completely fine AND out of the well in this one. Around 10 chapters ago I saw someone complain that the author is making Okaya way too flawless & invincible to an absurd degree, at the time I somewhat disagreed but now it's pretty tough to think otherwise. It's ok to have the antagonist make a mistake or lose an encounter at some point before the very end.

I believe the Japanese police ('keisatsu') do not carry firearms during their 'off-time' and it would be a pretty serious crime to do so. A crime that would be easily detected & proven. I'm not 100% sure how it works but I think they have to get their firearm from the official 'police storage' guy (logistics?) and it registers the time they took it plus when they brought it back as well as any discharges that occurred.

I guess she could just steal a gun or illegally carry it on her anyway and forge whatever documents she needs to later on, but if what I've heard about the Japanese attitude toward guns, she would definitely get caught and thus, bring down a lot of heat on herself & Okaya which would endanger their little endeavors...... maybe it's just bad writing though, could go either way.
