I like the idea behind this, but the pacing of the first chapter seems off.
We didn't get to see much of the manipulation by flora which seems to be the draw of the series. Fiona already feels plenty broken to the point of not being able to think for herself, and she already left her husband, her main conflict point driving her towards flora. Everything is happening extremely fast, which means nothing gets built up.

We still enjoyable, but hopefully the next chapters actually explore the story beats rather than just pass by them.

I understand you, fiona suffers for 5 years and with flora for 2 years of sessions, in chapter 2 you will understand better!
