I'm not a typical fan of this sort of personality and getting scared by girls he can beat in 0.0000000000000001 seconds since it's implied he's invincible in strength which means he can get anything whatever he desire but he still want to "strike it rich" when he can just do it forcefully easily and it's basically irritate me since I actually do read novels in genres like xianxia xuanhuan wuxia "english translated, sometimes machine translated if I must" sadly I can't understand chinese and if I learn it, it will most likely take me up to 3-10 years to either fully understand what they're writing in those sorts of novels or just the basics around it and i'm very lazy.

I only read upto 5 chapter so I can't judge that much on anything more so I will just have it on my "plan to read" later list and if it interest me later I may take another read at it.

https://wujizun.com/mkrlmanhua/ is the translator's actual site, so I'd suggest reading from there.

The MC feel like a poor fanfiction of Wei Xiaobao from The Deer and the Cauldron.

What i do like and don't like from this story
What i like:
OP main char who didn't always use power to solve problem.
Really laid back MC.
Funny shenanigan of the MC's master.

What i don't like:
Using the same joke over and over again until it doesn't funny anymore. (su xiao is a guy!)
Keep dragging a joke, making the reader waiting for a punchline but it never deliver.
Plot twist after plot twist, after plot twist, after plot twist, after plot twist, after plot twist, after plot twist, after plot twist, after plot twist.
At one point, the developed MC only appeared 20% most of the time and showing only underdeveloped side character.
Really stupid misunderstanding.
The MC is smart, until the author decide he doesn't.
To make the MC look smart, the author make other character look like a retard.

Usually i recommend for people to read the original source, but for this story, the manhwa adaptation is better.

I can see some similarities, but the MC here is actually powerful and intelligent while still having some heroic traits except for being really lazy. While Wei Xiaobao is pretty much almost the opposite of your typical wuxia hero. Greedy, perverted, and willing to use dirty tricks and what not to accomplish his goal all the whiles still having a pretty good heart and is pretty damn loyal. And while not powerful uses his wit and street smarts to one-up everyone and get the girl ( all 7(?) of them).

Great work but man, the scanlator's site is so laggy it's hard to favor using it when it takes upward of a minute per page.
