What a load of convenient BS. If such an oath exists, then what purpose does justice have? an innocent can take it and go home scott free. The author has just turned any conspiracy/lie past, present and future into crap, since everyone who was wrongly accused could have taken the oath as well.

Why every innocent in that world doesn't just take the oath when wrongly accused? the author just destroyed his own story, making interrogations, plots and conspiracies utter crap from this point onward, even if he sets some kind of limit to those who use the oath. Us readers will always ask: why doesn't he/she takes the oath since they have the same strength or more of Qin feng?
