I would guess his condition is to exclude/save his direct family.
Maybe his greed will somehow give him all resources.. *cough* spoils of war.. of the central capital, which of course would include the Blood Hall warriors not already sworn loyalty to him. However I cannot seem to formulate that into a single condition.
