1) Why change yang to yuan?

@DonGiovanni Yang and Yuan are different things (I'm not particularly an expert so I probably can't give a sufficient explanation). I've heard the term 'Yuan Qi' a lot and I'm confident Yang & Yin are a separate thing.

@DonGiovanni from what I understand Yin/Yang and Yuan chis are all different. Typically males are influenced by and cultivate Yang Chi. The opposite is true for Females. Thus the paired cultivation methods that require both male and female cultivators. By circulating absorbed energies through the meridians and dantians of both cultivators at the same time it allows the flow of chi to increase thus allowing the energies needed for cultivating to be absorbed faster.

Yuan Chi (from a quick google search) is like a primordial life essence energy which it seems in this case may be harmful to the systems of this brand of cultivators.

@blusasuke @bushwhacker2k oh, ok. The way it was used didn't make it clear that it was a different thing. And I've never heard of this yuan chi. And this is not my first xian xia. XD

@DonGiovanni yeah sorry I tend to get overzealous when explaining things. But Yuan chi was a new thing for me as well usually it’s either yin/yang or it’s called some other name or essence of a particular element or even energy from a particular realm.
