Honestly, if this manga wasn’t drawn by Tiv, I doubt it would’ve had as much love as it currently does. Hopefully this one will clear up all resent for the main story, though it’s pretty bad if you needed a sequel, which resulted in another manga being axed, to do that in the first place.

@IVVO Because it was poorly handled. It was fairly singularly focused on Aki/Masamune until the last 15 chapters it shifted to give development to Yoshino and via flashback sorta lampshade what had been intended to be Yoshino development points earlier in the story as well. It was stressed that neither Aki nor Masamune was looking at their current selves. Aki was reminiscing about the Masamune she knew years ago. Masamune's revenge simmered for years based on his understanding of events, but one of the last developments he had was being disillusioned with Aki after his realization she wasn't the same person and despite finding out the truth of him being the real Masamune, was still looking at him like his past self. Meanwhile they setup how he has a healthy give and take relationship with Yoshino and feels comfortable around her, yet breaks out in hives around Aki, etc.

The Yoshino stuff needed to be lampshaded a little better and covered earlier in the story or cut out entirely. Doing it how and when they did just structures the overall story badly and burns readers.

Looks like this series will focus a lot more on Aki and Masamune's relationship (YAY!). Hopefully no more unncessary drama, otherwise i'm totally in! Hopefully a group picks this up because I'm really looking forward to the next chapters
