When he touched it with his hands, there was a glow, which I guess is the toxin being removed, the rest of it is pure magic power or atleast not harmful. Licking probably means he took in atleast some of it, but as to whether it's all or not is hard to say with one test.

Reminds me a bit of those CN cultivation novels where they use beast dantians / cores after purifying them with their energy

While that's impressive and all, I'm a little confused by the stat increase. I feel like it hasn't increased enough to warrant destroying the metal armor when at half-power, it deflected his attack.

Oh well, this was fun. The MC is hard-working, so that's appealing if the author can keep it up. All in all, looking forward to the future.
