Even if he doesn't get info from absorbing it, he should realize by now that she's dead because he has her magic stone.

Especially since the first chapters talked about how the elf girl would die if MC absorb her magic stone from being in the same carriage. The red fox wouldn't be able to live without her magic stone.

Consulting the wiki it is said that Chris will be one of his fiance, but for some reason I couldn't find her age. I think that in the manga said her age but a don't remember, I'm sure that she is no that far from the mc about age, I believe like 5 to 6 years.
