I just noticed how high Milly's potential is. Her lowest potential is in Spirit Magic which is 85, and all her other potentials are no fewer than 94 points. I'm glad Zeff isn't jealous, since his potential is surpassed in every aspect save for Spirit and Green magic.

Passing the potential limits is the goal Zeff has in mind... and Milly seems to be a much of a true genius... still the ineffectiveness of hers is overbearing... and I expected the MC to train to become a craftsmen...

That doesn't mean she'll actually be as skilled at using magic as him. This seems to be about leveling up potential. Like, you have to be X level to use Y spells, but how well you do at it and anything else related to casting magic and using it well is entirely on you.

She doesn't seem to be a genius. We haven't really been given any clue as to how their magic system works. Is she beyond what someone her age should be capable of? Do stats include skill at using the magic and adapting it? Mana amounts?

She really seem to just be a dumb girl with high stat potential and nothing more because we just don't have rule to measure her and Zeff by.
