@melikachan @UnieCetterie In the US, what is considered Incest depends on the state, in all states 2nd cousin and beyond is legal and not considered incest by both Legal Affinity and Religious Affinity but prudes will give you weird looks. My mom had a crush on her 2nd cousin when she was in her 20s but both their mothers conspired against them and sabotaged any attempts of them communicating. Heck, in California 1st Cousin Marriage is legal. Like everyone freaks out about cousin marriage but as long as it isn't a common practice in a person's family it only raises risk of birth defects as much a having a child in your 40s which is from 0.5% up to 1%
