On one hand this is the only realistic ending - he'd already taken two and a half fights of punishment whereas Daiju was unharmed.
On the other hand - having the challenger be forced to fight three times and the champion only once, with no time to recover except that 15 minute break (which is barely anything let's be real) - that's a joke.
