I totally disagree with the idea that Yuki is stupid, he needed to do something or the gods might get the chance to kill or incapacitate Ren, obviously the most powerful weapon of humans, that would put the world in danger. He showed that he is a true hero who doesn't care about himself but about everyone else and Mira proves again that she is one of the best characters and waifu in the manga not only did she perfectly understand this situation but she also did it out of love and the relationship they have.
It’s more like he was naive. Honestly this was the only way to tip the scales for kyouka however by the look on his face after ren order. It clear he didn’t really process how big of a gamble this was.
Even after this warning. I mean this ren where talking about who’s work with the omeyou agency.
It not surprising ren tried to pull that move and disregard his words as mere sentiment.
And that he was potentially opening up for experiments.
luckily for him he does have the trust of the other generals and I doubt they would allow yuuki to be used for experiments considering the history they each share.
