It worked out in his favor but wow that was an incredibly foolish thing for Yuuki to do. Now Kyouka has to win this election otherwise there'll be no stopping Ren from demanding Kyouka to hand over Yuuki to study him. I'm fully expecting that by the end of this arc, she'll be the commander whereas I was more so convinced Ren would still hold it before Yuuki revealed that.

I think this is honestly a good deal. Ren's main appeal is her overwhelming power to deal with the demon gods, which has been put into question. Without absolute certainty, a deal for a vague revolutionary energy from creatures that want to eat humans just sound ridiculous.

It’s more like he was naive. Honestly this was the only way to tip the scales for kyouka however by the look on his face after ren order. It clear he didn’t really process how big of a gamble this was.

Everyone calling Yukki a "simp" or this was a "bad move" is stupid and clearly DO NOT understand what he's doing. He's using Ren's cockiness against her by fueling everyone else. Especially Kyouka, which is why she tweaked out when Ren tried to claim Yukki as her slave.

Yukki took a risk, and it paid off. If anything, he had balls of steel and raw conviction to do what he did.
