Yeah... Bell practically obliterated Konomi with this. It's gonna be pretty awkward for Konomi after this. Honestly they better not let her off easy and instead have her wallow in self-guilt for a bit (at least 3 chapters).

Late reply but, in retrospect it's not difficult to see how it turned out this way.
You'll be hard-pressed to describe Konomi as a bad person, but she's also kind of a simpleton who defers to the power structure a lot. She would easily fall in line if nudged a certain way, and Ren was just the better of the two at figuring out the right angle.

Ren is no doubt a brilliant politician (though not an equally great leader, note that those are two different things).

A foreseen outcome. Had me laughing at her face too, even if I'm still a Ren fan. She really got setup to take the L too. But I'm glad she didn't lose it and go on a rampage. People probably wanted to see that so, in ya face. And as a Ren fan, love that she's taking it in stride. That's exactly how the strongest should act. Also, Bell spanking her, chef's kiss. I really wanna see some cuck stuff happening in this manga. I wanna see Kyouka walk in and see Yuuki and Tenka having a hot sex. Then Yuuki while Tenka’s mind going blank and enjoying while Kyouka gets heartbroken and runs away crying. Tanka is the best girl. She needs to take his virginity first.
