dunno why, but I still can't get it out of my head that these two gods being as powerful as they are is BS and doesn't make sense. Like they got a huge power boost bc the plot needed them to. Idk, I know I'm most likely in the wrong here, but the feeling just doesn't go away.

I think the point is kind of that something is off with them, they shouldn’t exist much less be as powerful as they are. It’s obvious someone somewhere is not telling the rest of the organization what they should know. Considering it’s clear humans have already been in contact with them in secret, given they had human devotees after all. It might even be the case that someone currently active in the organization or in a governing body is connected to them.

Tenka is currently investigating one of them, whose to say the other doesn’t need to be investigated too?
