for simple real life example, parent. If the husband have more income then he will brag to his family or even abuse it. But if the Wife have more income, then the opposite might happen, yeah I see it in my friend big family ... it getting mess up since the wife have "revenge" against her husband for what he has done at past ... (the husband abuse family and mock his wife when he have big work income) ... this continue until the husband died because cancer sickness ... their children already sick with their situation, have their own income and leave the family ...

total mess up real life experience discrimination based work income ...
and yes, this still happen in society, even in MODERN LIFE SOCIETY ...
