It's normal because people who had absolute authority feels lonely because they dont have anyone who can spoiled them, fearing that they will be kneel by force. This kind of issue leads to reverse-submission where leaders need pampered by their subordinates, they become sick of their life and need someone who can comfort them with mutual relationships (sadly it become slave-master situation where leaders become slave instead of subordinates).
