Notice how Mira was wiping Yuuki's face and filling his cup mid-conversation. What a sweet and thoughtful woman.
You're right! I initially thought Mira was the one wiping his face, but thought that wouldn't make much sense, so I figured it was Yuuki wiping his own face but no, she really is that thoughtful of a woman! And casually filling his cup was so sweet too.
When we first saw Mira during the first Chiefs' Assembly and her giving Yuuki some pointers in a tough-love, tsundere-kind of way, I had a feeling that behind her rivalry/perceived hostility with Kyouka, she was one of the kinder, more caring Chiefs. And this chapter proved that and showed all of her best points and endearing sides of her. Even here, Mira just wanted to ask if Kyouka needed a hand in dealing with her problems, not to pry into her private affairs.
A tough, pure maiden, and softie Yankee with perhaps the best gap moe I've ever seen. Especially that panel on page 18, Mira really is the cutest!
This author really knows how to create a diverse set of girls that are all unique in their own way and have their own charm/appeal. It really does feel like there isn't a single popular/major character trope that's missing from the ladies of this series.
