At first I was like "Hell yeah, Alphreim. Totally unforgivable raaaagghhh" and then I was like "No hold on, which one is this Flamme? Do we even see the person before? Frieren's mentor?"

Let's make some sense of all this. The royals are the now late king Burn and 4 brothers:

Flamme the one with the ponytail and the chill attitude. He's the one crowned king, but he's now disappeared. He looks like Alphreim when he cares to look half-decent, so it's easy to confuse the two.

Then we have the SoB Vargus, the one with the feather fan who tried to get Scarlett to his side and nearly got punched for his trouble, one of the conspirators. He's the one who sent the mercenaries to the Inferno Palace.

Then we have the one who acts like a brain-dead Khornate berserker, Iphrite. He also nearly got his ass handled to him by Scarlett and Rex. The other conspirator.

And lastly we have good ol' Alphreim, like a child with a short fuse. Scarlett doesn't punch him often or hard enough sometimes.

And lastly, not royal, but EVEN HIGHER in the totem pole, is Lady Hecate. She's the most powerful dragoness, master of the Inferno Palace and mount and queen of the first king. She took a shine to Alpheim, not NOBODY messes with her, not even Burn. Probably next chapter as for why.
