The concept seems so similar to Vlad Love that I'm really wondering if the writers were actually inspired by Mamoru Oshii's show or is it just a general coincidence due to the all-female vampire show concept? Because Vlad didn't seem particularly popular. But anyway, thanks for the translation, let's see if the manga adaptation follows the standard formula this time.

Seems like it, since chapter 1 is actually episode 1 of the anime, and chapter 2 has 45 pages in total (ch 1 had 48)

Well, if they make 12-13 chapters of 40+ pages, then I think this will be just enough for the usual 2-3 volumes.

You definitely have a good point but then again if you first read some title and then you see it adapter in anime form it then feels lack luster to the original. At least thats what I think happens in some cases, the animators take a slightly different approach where you were reading it with a more serious tone instead for example. And even if the adaptation is just plain more enjoyable, the original goes on and there is more to the interesting story or simply the type of comedy.
