No wonder, it's been 9 months since the last chapter and I start forgetting the plot after 3.Dude, I'm so lost in the subjacent plot. Can anyone enlighten me? Between the sporadic chapters and this secretive plot not being the main focus, I get lost.
The world is a giant experiment by higher dimensional beings, and the continuation of that experiment requires Saburo make some kind of breakthrough for them in the advancement of civilization and culture. Everyone assumes Saburo was summoned specifically because he was best suited to bring that about, so they must want him to use his cooking skills. But we just learned Penglai already had a culinary culture so that criteria must have already been met.Dude, I'm so lost in the subjacent plot. Can anyone enlighten me? Never assume the name of foodstuff, or anything else that's highly cultural, translates directly.I mean ... maybe he should have felt something was off the moment she brought up 5 spice powder that uses something called "CHINESE" cinnamon and she rolled sausages ?
My thought the whole chapter was, that Saburo was summoned because he is from an advanced civilization, so he could spread knowledge about that instead of cuisine. But "tasty food" also does not equal a unified culture. The world is a giant experiment by higher dimensional beings, and the continuation of that experiment requires Saburo make some kind of breakthrough for them in the advancement of civilization and culture. Basically that planet is being experimented by higher being, whether they can nurture developed civilization on a... I forgot, basic civilization??Dude, I'm so lost in the subjacent plot. spider girl is also part of this whole thing, so she kinda was the start of this much grander story concept. I do not remember how much it hinted at that, but I do think it had some hints at a bigger picture existing thoIf I remember right they must create culture or the world will be wiped by that snowmans people, or something along that line. Manga wet off the rails as soon as it introduced what ever the hell snowmans people are, gods, aliens, guardians etc. Maybe it would make more sense if reread as a whole . . . Maybe? Maybe not. . . . . .
I mean, he did though, didn’t he? Isn’t that why he looked so surprised, went over to the bottle and checked it out while looking all concerned right after she said it?I mean ... maybe he should have felt something was off the moment she brought up 5 spice powder that uses something called "CHINESE" cinnamon and she rolled sausages ?
