Are the mentally ill redrawing someone else's work they stole and illegally translated as they see fit again?

Woof, all caught up with this abomination. I'm super happy it was cancelled. I'll keep skimming it to see how big a hole it digs with the story, but wow is it bad.

Why’s he talking about mushrooming? Don’t matchlocks just fire lead balls? So perfectly spherical? Surely blasting holes in things with a ball of adamantite would do more damage than whatever force might be imparted by a regular bullet anyway?

Like, if the point is punching power, and he’s using his weird telekinesis ability anyway, knives would be better like he said, and there’d be no point in a gun? Maybe something more like a drill bit instead. It’s been a while, i don’t remember if the limits of this ‘conquerer’ power were ever fully explained.

uhh, that's a flintlock pistol, not a matchlock, and at close range they are quite accurate. as accurate as any shotgun al least.

when soft lead projectiles impact an object, they tend to flatten out, thus creating a larger wound path. this is called mushrooming, and yes it does also occur with round ball muzzle loaders. i've dug out enough lead from deer i hunted to know that's a fact.

I didn’t realize flint and matchlock were two different things, although i can guess what the decider is. I was aware of mushrooming in general, but you know my dumbass brain was like “spheres don’t really look like mushrooms if you flatten them (because what about the stem/root) so surely they must do something else/nothing at all or it would be called different”.
