We could draw an example of octopi, and how each individual arm has a mind of its own, performing tasks and processing sensory and motor signals without consulting the animal's central brain. The arms are also connected to one another through their axial nerve cords in specific patterns, allowing for coordination between them without explitic commands.
True, but I wanted to draw an example from which we can relate to in terms of our sensory perception, as we can't ask the octopus what it's like to have autonomic limbs to that extent. For the same reason, it's unclear how connected the arms and primary brain actually are, as octopi appear to perform on learning and memory based tasks in an identical fashion to animals with a conventional brain.

Thanks for the translation

The snake hair got so disapointed...

They must be linked, at the very least the snakes know what she is thinking/feeling since they always react appropriately and are so expressive when she isnt.
Like earlier on they were showing fangs and on guard vs now where they're just happy to be around. Besides her slight blush her face is mostly the same since then.

Could be she's simply dissapointed in herself and the snakes show it too
It could also be, that because the Medusa and snakes grew up together and are always together they are kinda like twins and just know what the other part is thinking.

for the snake autonomy theories, they not necessarily have to be autonomous to show different feelings, they could just show inner feelings masked by the main persona.
she could look like she is just teasing again but internally shy is very ashamed when telling him she likes him, and then she look disappointed in herself when she can't just spell it out

For some reason her love for him seems to make her want to petrify him, which makes little sense to me but hey to each their own 🤷🏽‍♂️

You say "teasing again", but she's been shown to actually be stupid: She really does think her ploys to get him to take off her blindfold will seriously work. This is a dumb waifu.
