I mean, his series usually skip giving the MC lines as long as they can. There is nowhere to go but up from there. I guess even he realized the usual "girl repeats what MC-kun was implied to have just said" doesn't work when he's supposed to be the tsukkomi.

I guess if she had her hands free, she could take off the blindfold, but also keeping a slave in those kinds of shackles seems wildly inconvenient for both parties, unless she's purely a decoration/sex slave. Usually when I see that kind of thing it's like, the slave was just bought / is still at the slave market or whatever.
