@DracoSafarius to ke the timeskip hurts the story a bit, since it comes out of nowhere and doesn't really resolve some ongoing subplots. Like did sensei tell MC about how she feels during these months? How much closer did MC and FMC get over time? What was the point if the annoying new girl other than to drag things out?
This could work if next chapter establishes his relationship with each girl has changed between the timeskip but if it doesn't that would be bad writing.

@Moneymike1995 Definitely would have been better without, but for just a random out of nowhere skip it's been a lot better than I'd expect for it. Series isn't terribly great anymore, but there's still hope
