Bro, why are y'all comparing this with konosuba. The entire reason konosuba is so good is cause of its lively character developments, unique personalities. In this manga the fmc and mc fell in love at first sight. That's just poor writing in my opinion.

Or that other series where the guy did the exact same thing (asked to marry the goddess), but he was like a battle maniac and he to summon her or something but needed to be a higher level... something like that.
BRO WHAT SERIES IS THAT?!

My only question is, why the hell people would keep working in a crazy company like that one?
I heard the culture made it really hard to leave the company in Japan and maybe landing a new job might not worth the risk in their eyes.

Guy wishes for the goddess to be with him right? Well after 20 years of publication (and there would be like...3-5 more) they finally reveal WHY no progress happened at all. see chapter 285.
Simply put they neutered the guy. The Gods didn't want him to be with her, they completely suppressed his lust.

And Belldandy KNEW, she knew all along.

So what happened after that? Well that suppression was removed and.....nothing changed, no new progress, his behaviour didn't change at all, Belldandy who had been hiding the truth all along felt guilty while the protagonist.....felt like she was being dumb for feeling guilty, that she had no blame, so their relationship from that point when the lust was returned to normal to the end, REMAINED THE SAME.
To further twist the knife, they are shown a flashback of a guy (forgot the details) meeting and living with a goddess and they even have sex together (shown in one panel, with their shadows).
Oh right, that. Worst way it could've been handled. Even simply ignoring it would have been better.
Or making one of the NTR doujins (which there were a lot, and some were long running ones with surprisingly decent plot) canon. At least it would be funny.

Well except Kazuma took the goddess because he thought she would bring her powers with her while this MC was so smitten he didn't mind even if she lost all her powers(which she kinda did; except minor healing)
No he took aqua purely out of spite

The series you are thinking of is Black Summoner

Skuld? Hah! They don't even hide that they rip off Oh My Goddess and mixed it with Konosuba.

what in the oh my goddess, the other goddess' name was skuld??!
Well, Skuld was a real goddess (along with Verðandi and Urðr, aka Belldandy and Urd) in the Norse pantheon. Iris is a messenger goddess from Greek mythology. Japanese manga often just grabs random deities from other pantheons and throws them into manga regardless of if it makes any sense or not.

Yep, it was pretty messed up.

Really, though, it was very obviously a situation where the mangaka painted themselves into a corner and added on at the end. Given Belldandy's personality, the guilt would have been chewing at her constantly, especially as she saw the university-aged people around her getting into relationships and starting families. Keiichi would have been talking to his friends about it and wondering what was wrong with him. And you know Urd would have put a stop to it in the most violent way possible. But there's almost no foreshadowing (I can remember only once instance where Belldandy is thinking to herself that she's not ready to move to the next step yet), no concern from anyone, nothing. The whole thing was handled badly.

I really enjoyed the manga and read it for years, but it was one of the first manga series I followed and I haven't reread it since it completed. I'm not sure how I'd feel about it today.

I can see this kind of story goes with many f*ck up plot. Sending to another world without even OP powers is a death wish. The MC is so weak
