Yeah, all of what’s being discussed here is definitely not what Meguro is like later on in the story, really feels like somebody didn’t read and there’s a totally different manga with the same character being talked about 💀I just wanted to get a last laugh with the people reading how we're finally free from this.
hahaha I get you, can't believe we got this discussion here.
It's not spamming, he just doesn’t like your post, not that hard to get. He clearly has his stance that is not the same as yours.
weird that your point didn't get mention by the fanfic enthusiast, as pretty much is the main reason most readers didn’t like the last arc
Yeah this shows he didn’t read the manga. There has been literally 0 callout for his behavior. Saying 'You didn't see me as your lover' doesn't callout anything about his actual behavior which was taking advantage of her innocence and inexperience while leaving her with experiences and advices that screwed her up to the point of getting pumped and dumped hundreds of times in 4 fucking years.
Am I the only one who remember that Meguro in the early chapter was quite literally an insane person who had no clue what being a person even was? And that it's clearly and directly stated several time that it was a direct result of the sensei's actions, advices and 'teachings'? Girl was unironically acting and reacting like a human trafficking victim mixed with a robot.
Hell, nobody even bitch at him for apparently still being a womanizer, it doesn't even get something that could be considered a reprimanding 'Oh you!'. Even the sister just give him a dirty look but doesn't say shit and let him into the house, without going into her parents (Who are literally the world's worst parents, I have no clue how you let your daughter be a public sex slave for 4 years with 0 reactions despite somehow still playing chaperon when she has a sleepover with her friends) who for all intent and purpose should take a baseball to his skull since they literally paid him to tutor her and what he did is take her to love hotels to fuck her.
and liking his own comment, not making it subtle at allimagine being such a sore loser that you create a fresh account just to spam dumb everywhere lol
Dude... how is any of these interactions realistic? AT ALL? You really need to re-read this mess, because there’s no way you genuinely think this is a "realistic perspective on love and relationships." And if you’re serious about that, please, for your own sake, seek psychological assistance. I’m not trying to be mean, I’m being serious.Anyways, for people who haven't read the manga yet, and see this post, I encourage you to not let the comments dissuade you from reading the manga - and - to go in and look at it with an open-mind: it's a manga that offers an unusually realistic perspective on love and relationships, and it reaaaallly is not so bad that you should avoid it because of what's suggested to have happened in the final arc.
I think that Meguro's utter lack of anger actually makes it worse. She's too passive. Sometimes you should get angry and make a stand. What did people read here?
No, Sensei did not go to jail for grooming Meguro.
Yes, Meguro absolutely called out Sensei for viewing her as his student, not a lover, and someone who he could push his beliefs onto - essentially stating clearly, that I know you did not love me, or view me as a relationship partner, just someone who you could lead along, which is what he deserved - but she also thanked him, because, like other characters stated, as a boyfriend, he's a terrible person, awful. As a teacher, he is extremely talented and helped Meguro when she was younger, and, additionally when she was older.
Meguro thanking Sensei is out of appreciation for his role as a teacher... that's why he's never given a name, he's only referred to as a Sensei.
The final arc was about Meguro putting herself first and acting for herself, which, as she noticed later in the manga, she had never done before.
At the beginning of the manga, Meguro didn't have likes, interests or objectives for herself, and only acted to make her partner happy.
At the end of the manga, Meguro broke up with Koga, to focus on herself, and ensure she could fulfill her objective of getting into college, instead, of focusing on love.
There's nothing wrong with disliking the manga, but to completely ignore the story's structure, and criticize it, just because, is unfair to the artist.
Ironically, just ignoring the sensei and leaving him in the past would be a better development than this. There are hundreds of ways of reaching the same conclusion and progressing Meguro's character without being as retarded as this author was. I don't even think the guy was criminal because both were minors at the time, but hand-waving what he did by splitting his shitty views and his competency as a teacher, treating that as if they're different people makes no sense.
And to top it all, almost zero catharsis from the end. Fuck this shit.
The issue is that Meguro feels like a legitimately, clinically mentally challenged person. Somebody so stupid that you can make a legitimate argument that she's too dumb to give an informed consent.I think its pretty much an esteblished fact at this point that Meguro is severely autistic. Which makes what the groomer did even more horrendous. Koga is just a templete and what author thinks an ideal boyfriend is like (it isn't).
Meguro just goes along with whatever she is told like the robot she is. I've said this before but if someone told her to fuck the groomer to make sure she is moved on, she would. Noone can say she wouldn't from the things we've shown so far. And Koga would be ok with it because he is not human.
The point is that Meguro's issues and their source were established early on and the fact that the author has gotten stuck on "everything must be solved by talking it out and making friends" mindset that ensured the second worst possible way to handle her scumbag first ex.let's break the plot :
but Koga refuse and want Meguro to cherish herself more.
- Meguro is a loose girl, who say yes to any guys who says : "i like you please go out with me"
- But after relationship happen, the guys always dump her cause they can't feel same love vibe from Meguro
- This happen often, and almost 4 year since middle school (with over 100 guys?)
- this rumour make Meguro called bitch, cause she willing to sleep to any guys who like her.
- (Chapter 1) Koga confessed to Meguro. Despite her saying its not her first time, Koga want to became her boyfriends
- at first Meguro thought love is about physical relationship, and want to have sex immedietly,
- The relationship with Koga , change Meguro personality becomes mature, she found many valuable experience ; from romance, friendship, self loving, etc (entire plot till last arc)
- in last arc its revealed, the reason why meguro became loose girl is because her private Sensei in middle school taught her to have relationship with many guys to understand love.
- epilogue : meguro wants to go to college and break with Koga so she can full concentrate to exam, she pass and later go back date koga in the end.
i understand to ending is quite satisfied for shoujo manga, but is too mild for shounen manga.
Remember :
This manga was originally on Palcy (Kodansha platform for shojo manga), but also is on Magazine Pocket (Kodansha platform for shonen manga.)
as someone read it on spanish, once the ex was back the manga collapse and seems japanese were furious led to be axedPersonally, I will just tell people to read the first part (up to Volume 7), which was almost entirely good. I find everything in the 2nd part average at best, and atrocious at worst.
He wasn't even slightly subtle about it, he even talk the same.imagine being such a sore loser that you create a fresh account just to spam dumb everywhere lol
Literally 90% of bad boy Shoujos. Now I think I would be more interested to see, maybe it exists, a story of a guy who had sex and found it, not traumatic but stale, boring, overrated and thus while having friends he is "broken" in the sense that he doesn't see the need to extend a relationship beyond a certain point.
What would have been the worst?that ensured the second worst possible way to handle her scumbag first ex.
I'd imagine making him straight up fuck herWhat would have been the worst?
I think this is the big one thing on which I agree. There is lack of anger, of conflict, you don't need need to make someone a bad guy (except with tutor, he should be made bad guy), but it's normal that people will get hurt and angry in real life. This is some weird "Kumbaya" version of life where everything is good because it teaches you new experiences in life, even if it's becoming autistic school bike after your middle school tutor made you his fucktoy. And it's not the only thing, I remember there were few other situations where I was wondering "why won't this character tell the other one to fuck off"? But this is like forbidden in this manga. The point is that Meguro's issues and their source were established early on and the fact that the author has gotten stuck on "everything must be solved by talking it out and making friends" mindset that ensured the second worst possible way to handle her scumbag first ex.
I'd imagine making him straight up fuck her
