The characters’ development is completely erased by the end—they regress for scraps of affection the FMC gives the MC. In just a few chapters, she shows more warmth and love to her abuser than to the MC who actually supported her.

You seem to be the only one who can’t see how bad the ending is, yet you’re defending it so fiercely that you literally created a second account just to argue with people. Then you pretended not to know what others are talking about. Seriously, whatever issues you’re dealing with or whatever you’ve done, please get some help. You can literally see that Sensei is held to account by the person he did something to and genuinely feels bad - their interaction wasn’t illegal, what other type of way is he supposed to be held to account than by the person who he hurt?

Saying FMC and MC didn’t experience any character development is so untrue: Meguro goes from a doormat who will date anyone and do what anyone says to a girl with boundaries and personal goals for herself

Koga goes from an insecure, unpopular guy who is scared to stand up to guys hitting on Meguro or say they are going out to being willing to take charge during the school festival and his classmate gives him time to hang out with Meguro because he’s become socially integrated.

Koga even stands up for Meguro to her sister who is bullying her for her life style and helps Meguro develop a better relationship with her sister which was tarnished before.

All that I see from engaging with you people is that you have a TINY understanding of the manga and its concepts and yet present yourself as some kind of expert 😂

Then there’s also that other lie, quote where I defended Senpai, I’ve always stated what he did was bad, but, that doesn’t mean him doing a bad thing means the story is bad - and - nowhere does the MC thank Senpai, just because he asks him to help her get into her college of choice doesn’t mean he “thanked” him

polar opposites was a great read, the funny faces of the FMC always got me a smile, also the same as Horimiya it reached a point when the side couples were more interesting than main couple
