Wait a minute. Who killed themselves? And was it shown? Because I don't remember anyone hanging themselves. Kind of confused here.

@nazarmf and eveyone else that's confused - the two boys are talking about one of the bullies that was with the main bully during the "fire incident" (re-read early chapters).

My guess is, after that, and the police, the detectives, the investigation and whatnot. It drove her to kill herself via hanging... At least that's what I'm trying to piece together.

Haruyama is alive though.
