Probably because nobody cares or notices them. Which is unfortunate and harsh. That's why guys live through life bottling it up. And eventually they break like this.

Women don't bottle it up because they know they can get something out of it. Women are unconditionally loved. That's female privilege to you.

But wanting to neglect what you are just because you can relate so much to a girl on screen seems rather shallow of a reason to feel like you're the opposite gender.
