If people, and even more so guns, worked like they were supposed to, most characters, including 001, would be long dead.

Or maybe the others have got her covered? I find it odd he got there before the rest of the team who figured it out before they even informed 001. Maybe this is a trap to capture 003 alive.

the chapter before they stated that 1 is the closest to help 8, I doubt they're there yet and will probably only arrive at the end of the fight after 3's escaped
