when the mc does something they're so smart that they can catch him

but when shit happens to the mc or his love ones they become stupid

lol they're really not representing justice, cause if they're not stupid, then that means the douches which is the enemy just have that much backing, while the mc of revenge stories doesn't have any

so in a sense if the guy is from a powerful family they will turn a blind eye but if it's the mc that doesn't have anything they will use all their power to catch him
