Thanks for the chapter! I am sorry to hear you hate Latin-American Spanish, it's a shame... It is a joyful language =)
Also thanks for referring to the Spanish scanlation, I didn't know it was there (I filter chapters by English). I could read it and I suppose I understood what you missed out in translation. Don't take it seriously, though, because I don't speak Spanish. at. all. (I do speak Portuguese, though, so close enough LOL).
Why should you listen to me? Well, you either read this text so far or started around here to get the context of this meme, so might as well finish it.
I agree with
@mobung, the translation of "polarización social" seems fine to me (although I think "
social polarization" would be a better wording choice), and I think I understand why you changed "cumpleaños" into "let's do it".
When Amano says "Yeah, I like anything that looks like a meet-up", the others start saying things that could be considered meetups and Amano replies to them based on her likes and dislikes:
– Birthday parties!
– I like them!
– Meeting up to eat
imoni.
– I like it!
– Autograph events!
– That depends on the person!
– Social Polarization. (Likely as in when opposing groups confront each other in protests? I don't know)
– Too dark!
Seems like a classic case of "I didn't miss the joke; the joke missed me".
And that is totally fine. Who never?!? Translating is such a wild beast! But it is a fun beast, so I hope you enjoy what you are doing. Keep up the good work. =)
See you, (cyber) space cowboy!
