You need to realize that MOST of the drama in this series is actually forced and feels dumb.... this isn't the first one...

Author keeps on trying to over complicate simple things to try and make it seem artificially deep.... but it's instead, the glass bottom added to the pool makes it more shallow...

You know towards the middle of this chapter I said to myself "what even is going on anymore?" I figured I was alone in thinking this, but turns out others here are just as confused as I am. Why has such a simple manga built on a relatively simple premise diluted itself to this extent?

Maybe you all are right: the drama and conflict is so forced and artificial that I think my mind subconsciously filters it out. Which results in me not knowing what's really going on. Like in this chapter. I think it's time for the author to wrap this up if we've already reached this point.
