Some of you never jumped off a low bridge into the crick for fun when you were kids, and it shows. Dude was not pulling a "date me or I'll hurt myself." Mizuno did not interpret it that way. This was "sometimes you've got to take the plunge!"

Yeah and he could have ended up paralyzed for doing that. But because he's the MC he can do stupid shit like jump off a bridge and be fine while getting his point across. Realistic consequences be damned.
